It features a unique composition of polyester reinforcement and elastomer-modified asphalt (SBS), providing superior waterproofing and flexibility. With its coarse mineral granulate top surface and a protective plastic film on the underside, this membrane is ideal for various roofing applications, whether installed as a single layer or as part of a multilayer system.

Charakterystyka

Papa UNI STANDARD PYE PV250 S52 is engineered for easy installation and optimal performance. It can be mechanically fastened or heat welded, depending on the project requirements. Notably, the membrane is not suitable for green roofing systems. For mechanical fixation, ensure fasteners are evenly distributed along the lap joint as specified in the project details. Additionally, perfect heat welding of the laps is critical for forming a watertight seal. When welding to concrete or existing roofing membranes, it’s essential to prime the surfaces using a proper primer, such as Abizol R. The recommended overlapping margins are 11-12 cm for longitudinal laps and 12-15 cm for transverse laps in single-layer applications, adjusting to 8 cm and 12 cm, respectively, for multilayer systems. Proper welding can be confirmed by the 1 cm flow of coating material.
